Content Management Systems

With the digital landscape becoming increasingly populated with sophisticated websites and applications the importance of regularly updating and refreshing website content has never been greater. With expert knowledge and experience with a wide-range of third-party Content Management Systems as well as our own custom-built CMS Ammobox, we are able to advise on and implement the most suitable platform to allow our clients to manage their web content quickly and easily without any prior technical knowledge or experience.

Applications

Our in-house technical team is increasingly being briefed on the development of bespoke applications for our clients. Whether web-based, consumer-focused applications designed according to commercial aims and objectives or back-end systems required to streamline workflows or automate processes and internal systems, at Brandammo we have the necessary in-house skills and experience under one roof. Hosting

Our secure web servers are fully configured to accommodate websites of any size and type from small brochure sites to global brand and e-commerce platforms. All of our connections are Gigabit above the server level and the three multimillion pound data centres we use are connected via high-speed fibre links. Our Process

As with all of our services, regardless of the project requirements, we have developed specific processes and procedures to guarantee every development brief we undertake is completed on time, on budget and to the client’s complete satisfaction. Our technical development services are no exception and every project, regardless of size and scope, are approached as follows:

Prior to undertaking any development project a clear understanding of the requirements of the brief are essential. Whilst this is a major aspect of any service brief careful consideration of exact functionality is critical for development projects due to the complex technical nature of the work.

Research is undertaken to ensure our complete understanding of all influencing factors. Areas for consideration include technical competencies of end-user, accessibility and scaleability.
Following our research a detailed plan of action is compiled and presented to the client before moving to the next stage.

Functional prototyping and usability testing are undertaken prior to full application development. Depending on the nature of the project, this may also involve developing and testing a semi-functional section of the application to assess the most suitable coding language and/or platform.

Following the groundwork, we then move on to the full application development stage. Every development project is approached from the ground up in conjunction with our marketing team to ensure the application is presented clearly and consistently as well as being technically sound and secure.

Upon completion of the development stage thorough testing of every aspect of the application is undertaken. Depending on results, revisiting either on or a combination of the prior four stages may be required, but with comprehensive research and planning has been undertaken this is
rarely required.

Our involvement does not end once the project has gone live and we offer various maintenance packages, training and support to our clients as well as continous ongoing development (where required) to allow for the inevitable advances in technology and digital media over time.
