Our production studios have fully equipped retouch suites within colour-controlled environments that allow our clients to be as hands on as they wish during this delicate and often highly personal post-production process. At Brandammo, our production team are fully skilled and experience in all areas of photo retouching, from blemish removal and colour correction to image manipulation and compositing.

Video Editing and Production

Drawing on in-house creative, video editing and production skills, Brandammo have extensive high-end experience in creating a wide range of cutting-edge video and motion projects from Internet streaming video to HD digital broadcast quality. Our services in these areas including Production and Editing, Special Effects, Motion Graphic, Video Conversion, DVD Authoring and much more.

Printing and Scanning

To ensure we maintain complete control of creative output throughout the entire post-production process, at Brandammo we have both in-house flatbed and drum scanning facilities. Furthermore, our internal capabilities for high-end, large format printing on virtually any surface result in an ability to carefully monitor and control the entire post-production process during the transition from screen to print under one roof. We also have strong working relationships with tried and tested print suppliers around the country specialising in high-volume digital and litho printing as well as every conceivable finishing option allowing us to provide the complete range of print production services to our clients.

Our Approach

Whilst the production process can be complex and involve many factors and combinations of specialist skills, knowledge and experience, our basic approach can be divided into four distinct stages as described below.

1. Pre-Production

In what can be a relatively time consuming and costly process, comprehensive planning and research is key to any production brief. Working closely with a client, we find that understanding their expectations (i.e. what they want to achieve) and working backwards through the process considering available budget and possible time constraints is the best way to ensure the brief is met on time and within cost. As with any creative brief a clear concept considering communication aims as well as brand and/or commercial objectives, whether as part of a wider strategic plan or one-off tactical campaign is key to ensuring the end-result not only looks great but is meaningful, effective, and relevant to the target audience.

2. Production

Understanding the client’s objectives and creative variations between photographers and the support personnel is essential to assembling the right production team for the brief. Further consideration of studio set-up, locations, models, props, styling, lighting and equipment will all be finalised prior to a shoot based on practicability and other influencing factors. During a shoot, ensuring that everything and everyone remains on brief ensures the desired outcome and that the client’s objectives are met.

3. Post-Production

The post-production stage is designed to filter, compile and enhance the shoot material to achieve it’s fullest potential. Whether photo-retouching, editing or image manipulation, the full focus at this stage is providing the client with the best possible outcome. As a full service creative agency we are also able to draw on and combine skills in other areas during this process, such as Creative Design, Typography, Motion Graphics, 3D Modelling and Animation, Special Effects and much more to enhance any production brief.

4. Distribution

Upon finalisation of the post-production process and upon sign off by the client we are fully equipped to package and distribute any item of work, whether above or below the line. Expert knowledge of file conversion, optimisation, media distribution and support are all combined to ensure the maximum exposure at the highest possible quality among your target audience.
