W3C Says HTML5 Isn’t Ready for the Web

W3C Says HTML5 Isn’t Ready for the Web, looks like the main issue is simply about compatibility…

“I don’t think it’s ready for production yet,” the official continued. “The real problem is can we make it work across browsers, and at the moment, that is not the case.”

‘Art of Giving’ Charity Event featuring Christian the Lion

The Saatchi Gallery hosted a four day exhibition on behalf of the ‘Art of Giving’ Charity Event. The intention behind the campaign was to both raise funds and awareness on behalf of thirteen charities; this was successfully achieved through the integration of a live auction.

Derek Cattani (Photographer) and John Rendall (Author) could be found mingling with the adoring spectators in celebration of this momentous event.

Within Post-Production, BRANDAMMO was involved with the retouch of all images within the Christian the Lion back-catalogue and further produced all photographs for the exhibition.

The Art of Giving Charity Event triumphed and to see Christian receiving all the attention was truly rewarding.

Panoramic photos with AutoStitch App on iPhone…

I tried AutoStitch during our first home game of the new season on Saturday, West Ham v Bolton – (don’t ask for the results :/ )… you can see the final photo below, this was created from a series of three photos taken individually and also cropped using the same application. Pretty impressive even on the iPhone 3GS Camera… Continue reading

websiteworth

How much is your website worth? really that’s it?

Browsing the web one night, I stumbled upon a website called BizNut – a website evaluation service, estimating the worth of your website. I wouldn’t take the value too seriously, as it states it’s not 100% accurate… i would take this with a pinch of salt…. I began entering different websites in… you can try yourself, I’ve already tried Google and Facebook :)

Here are the results:
Champions: Spain (KT)
Runner-Up: Holland (Bill)
Third Place: Germany (Gail)

PHP and OOP

PHP is mainly a procedural programming language. Procedural programming is so called because the program code gives a set of instructions (i.e. an algorithm) for processing a particular task or set of tasks.

When programming in a procedural manner, the programmer usually breaks down the task/tasks in a top-down manner; this means the program will end up being made of a number of function calls, which can in turn call further functions or tasks. Continue reading
